En Espaņol:
sinopsis, El Cornudo Bornudo
At this point, three military police come asking for Henry Golden, because he had volunteered for reserve duty many years ago, but never showed up. Everyone points to Richard Saint-Claire, who is dragged away screaming and yelling to the Army base. A short while later, the real Henry Golden returns home to find that the Military Police have been looking for him to do his reserve duty, so he also runs off to the Army base.
At the Army base, Richard Saint-Claire cannot claim he is not Henry Golden because he doesn't want to compromise Angela in a love triangle, when in truth they have still only been friends, so he reluctantly has to accept to be thrown into jail. Captain Mitchell gets him out of jail, on condition that he should paint his portrait. In the meanwhile, the real Henry Golden arrives with his paints and easel... And in a hilarious on-going thread, Captain Mitchell orders the barber to cut Golden's (Saint-Claire) hair shorter, and this order is repeated 3 times on the real, unfortunate, Henry Golden.
Richard Saint-Claire refuses to paint Captain Mitchell's portrait on the grounds that he didn't bring the necessary equipment... However, the paints and easel belonging to Henry Golden are found, and they are brought to Saint-Claire to do the job. And in a funny way, the portrait slowly gets itself painted by the real Henry Golden. Saint-Claire is thrown back in jail.
Richard Saint-Claire finally escapes from jail. The other army recruits see Henry Golden with his wife Angela. They assume she is flirting with another man who is not her husband (since they believe her husband is Saint-Claire.) Henry Golden hears the gossip that his wife has a lover, (himself), and so he is a cuckold... He decides to leave his wife, and Angela cries her innocence...
They all meet again at a ball at Captain Mitchell's home, which is being held to introduce an unknown gentleman, Richard Saint-Claire, to Mitchell's daughter. By now Henry Golden knows all the truth, but decides to punish Saint-Claire for wanting to seduce his wife. Since everybody believes Richard Saint-Claire is Henry Golden, Henry Golden now claims to be Richard Saint-Claire. But Richard Saint-Claire cannot claim to be himself, and must finally agree that he is not himself, he is Henry Golden... and so, he is sent back to the Army to finish serving Henry Golden's reserve duty.
